Upcoming UK Strategic Analysis & Assessment Training Courses
Beacon and RISC have a Strategic Analysis & Assessment course scheduled for Wyboston Lakes outside Cambridge commencing in 20 April 2009, however there are only two vacancies left you need to hurry.
To book for the next open Wyboston course or to inquire about future Strategic Analysis & Assessment courses, please contact Jim Devery at RISC. To view the Wyboston training facility, you please visit the Wyboston Lakes web site. Before you consider any other strategic intelligence course, take the time to reflect that the Beacon/RISC course is accredited by the UK National Analysts Working Group and is therefore the official strategic intelligence course for all UK law enforcement agencies.
First Diploma of Intelligence Analysis commenced in Canberra in March 2009
Beacon and CIT Solutions (the commercial arm of the Canberra Institute of Technology) conducted the first module of the inaugural Diploma of Intelligence Analysis commencing on 30 March 2009 at the CIT Bruce Campus at Bruce in the Australian Capital Territory. Students from a range of Australian Government agencies attended and have now returned to there workplaces to complete elements of assessment prior to returning in mid-May for the second module. The Diploma of Intelligence Analysis is the only nationally accredited generic intelligence course currently available in Australia.
To learn more about the course content and to inquire about enrollment, please follow the CIT web page link. While the inaugural course and the second course have completely sold out, there are still vacancies for the third and later courses so we look forward to seeing you on one of the other 2009 courses.

Dodgey Tertiary Qualifications
It has come to our notice that at least one self-styled intelligence training provider is claiming to offer bona fide recognised tertiary qualifications, The firm operates from a Post Office Box and provides no information as to the identity of the tertiary education institution that is accrediting these qualifications. We leave it to you to decide which course is best for your needs.
